The Gunston School Herons (Centreville, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Salisbury Christian (Salisbury, MD), 43-9 in a league bout.

With the win, The Gunston School upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Herons travel to Worcester Prep (Berlin, MD) to clash with the Mallards in a Eastern Shore bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Mallards go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Worcester Prep won 40-26 in their recent non-league bout against Calvary Christian Academy (Dover, DE)

Next up, the clash with the Salisbury Dragons (Salisbury, MD) in a Eastern Shore bout, on Thursday, January 18. Salisbury Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 0-11 record after their 49-14 league loss to Sts. Peter & Paul (Easton, MD).
