Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (Bethesda, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests (Sandy Spring, MD), 71-17 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The host Georgetown Day (Washington, DC) to play the Mighty Hoppers in a DCSAA bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Mighty Hoppers come into the bout with a record of 7-6. Georgetown Day lost 52-49 in their recent league bout against Episcopal (Alexandria, VA)

Next up, the Wildebeests play the Washington International Red Devils (Washington, DC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Sandy Spring Friends will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
