Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV), 35-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lowry upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Buckaroos travel to Dayton (Dayton, NV) to play the Dust Devils in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Dust Devils go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Dayton won 39-36 in their recent league bout against Elko (Elko, NV)

Next up, the Greenwave play the Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Churchill County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
