The Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions soccer team scored 10 points and limited the visiting Valley Vista Monsoon to 0 in the Mountain Lions non-league victory on Friday.

Next, the Mountain Lions face the Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ) in a 6A Desert Valley contest, on Wednesday, January 17. Mountain Ridge will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ).
