Ohio High School Basketball - St. John's overwhelms Lima Central Catholic
January 12, 2025: Delphos, OH 45833 The St. John's Bluejays basketball team scored 76 points and limited the visiting Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds to 42 in the Bluejays non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Bluejays now possess a 11-0 record. They play next when they host Coldwater for a Midwest game on Tuesday, January 14. St. John's will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 59-46 non-league win over Wayne Trace (Haviland, OH). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Lima Central Catholic falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Bluffton (Bluffton, OH) to play the Pirates in a Northwest game on Friday, January 17. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 9-2. Bluffton won 77-36 in their recent non-league game against Carey (Carey, OH)
