The Alexandria Cardinals basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Fergus Falls Otters to 40 in the Cardinals league triumph on Thursday.

The Cardinals now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hutchinson for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 15.

The Otters (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Perham (Perham, MN). The Yellowjackets enter the AA Section 8 contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Perham triumphed over Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN), 58-54, in a league contest.
