The Cherry Hill East Cougars basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Washington Township Minutemen to 48 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Overbrook for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 18. Cherry Hill East will meet a Rams team coming off a 69-49 non-league win over Wildwood (Wildwood, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 4-2.

The Minutemen (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Moorestown (Moorestown, NJ). The Quakers enter the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Moorestown was defeated by Burlington Township (Burlington, NJ), 61-52, in a league contest.
