Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA) and the host Curwensville Golden Tide (Curwensville, PA), saw West Branch's basketball squad overcome Curwensville by a tally of 57-47.

With the victory, West Branch improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Warriors host Harmony Area (Westover, PA) to confront the Owls in a Moshannon Valley challenge on Monday, January 17. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 6-0.

Next up, the Golden Tide confront the Brockway Rovers (Brockway, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 14. Curwensville will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Rovers come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 50-36 league loss to Ridgway (Ridgway, PA).
