South Dakota High School Basketball - Highmore/Harrold thwarts Herreid/Selby
January 13, 2022: Herreid, SD 57632 The Highmore/Harrold Pirates (Highmore, SD) basketball knocked off the host Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD), 66-46 in Thursday's league test.
The Pirates (3-4) will now prepare for their test against James Valley Christian (Huron, SD). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, James Valley Christian went down by Oldham-Ramona/Rutland (Ramona, SD), 78-63, in a non-league test.
The Wolverines now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Strasburg/Zeeland for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 15. Herreid/Selby will battle a Clippers team coming off a 61-21 league loss to Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] (Steele, ND). The Clippers record now stands at 0-7.
