January 13, 2022: Wakefield, NE 68784 The Wakefield Trojans (Wakefield, NE) basketball crushed the visiting Lawton-Bronson Eagles (Lawton, IA), 77-34 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Trojans (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur Northeast (Bancroft, NE). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur Northeast was trounced by Ponca (Ponca, NE), 47-36, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host West Monona for a non-league test on Friday, January 14. Lawton-Bronson will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 58-46 non-league win over Westwood (Sloan, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 7-5.
