The Badger Braves (Kinsman, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Mathews Mustangs (Vienna, OH), 44-40 in Thursday's league test.

The Braves (6-6) will now prepare for their test against St. John (Ashtabula, OH). The Fighting Herald go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, St. John was tipped by Grand Valley (Orwell, OH), 59-39, in a non-league test.
