With the victory, Sidney improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Lourdes Central Catholic (Nebraska City, NE) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 15. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 8-4.
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten challenge, on Friday, January 14. Clarinda will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 61-15 league win over Red Oak (Red Oak, IA).
