January 13, 2022: Pharr, TX 78577 Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas (Pharr, TX), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Dragons confront the Veterans Memorial Chargers (Brownsville, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 14. Southwest will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 17-0 non-league win over Port Isabel (Port Isabel, TX).
The Javelinas now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Joseph Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, January 14. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest will confront a Bloodhounds team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Rivera (Brownsville, TX). The Bloodhounds record now stands at 8-1.
