January 13, 2023: Austin, TX 78735 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Regents Knights (Austin, TX) and the visiting Brentwood Christian Bears (Austin, TX), saw Regents's basketball squad hold off Brentwood Christian by a count of 69-64.
With the victory, Regents upgrades its record to 21-8 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Savio (Austin, TX) to play the Eagles in a TAPPS 5A District 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-14. Savio lost 51-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX)
Next up, the Bears play the Texas School for the Deaf Rangers (Austin, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Brentwood Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 17-8 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 42-39 non-league loss to Florida School for the Deaf & Blind (St. Augustine, FL).
