Arizona High School Basketball - Casteel overwhelms Williams Field
January 13, 2023: Queen Creek, AZ 85142 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ) and the visiting Williams Field Black Hawks (Gilbert, AZ), saw Casteel's basketball squad wallop Williams Field by a tally of 81-53.
With the victory, Casteel improves its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Colts host Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Pride in a 5A San Tan challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Pride come into the challenge with a record of 8-8. Mountain Pointe lost 88-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ)
Next up, the Black Hawks play the Casa Grande Cougars (Casa Grande, AZ) in a 5A San Tan challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Williams Field will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 66-47 league loss to Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ).
