In Friday's non-league match, the visiting St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish basketball team scored a tight 63-59 triumph over the Centerville Elks.

In their next game, the Fighting Irish meet the Skill Factory Athletes (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league match, on Sunday, January 15. St. Vincent-St. Mary will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Athletes enter the match with a 14-2 record after their 79-63 non-league win over Northside Christian Academy (Charlotte, NC).
