Ohio High School Basketball - South Point winner over Chesapeake
January 13, 2023: Chesapeake, OH 45619 The South Point Pointers (South Point, OH) basketball felled the host Chesapeake Panthers (Chesapeake, OH), 53-40 in Friday's league test.
The Pointers (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Whiteoak (Mowrystown, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Whiteoak was beaten by Peebles (Peebles, OH), 56-44, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Lynchburg-Clay for a non-league test on Saturday, January 14. Chesapeake will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 86-42 league win over West Union (West Union, OH). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-5.
