January 13, 2023: Gadsden, AL 35904 The Coosa Christian Conquerors (Gadsden, AL) basketball nipped the visiting Jefferson Christian Academy Eagles (Birmingham, AL), 48-44 in Friday's non-league test.
The Conquerors (1-10) will now prepare for their test against Cedar Bluff (Cedar Bluff, AL). The Tigers go into the 1A Area 12 test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Cedar Bluff got by Gaylesville (Gaylesville, AL), 73-47, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Ragland for a 1A Area 10 test on Tuesday, January 17. Jefferson Christian Academy will encounter a Purple Devils squad coming off a 67-41 league win over Victory Christian (Pell City, AL). The Purple Devils record now stands at 3-3.
