The Delcastle Technical Cougars basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles to 42 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glasgow for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Delcastle Technical will battle a Dragons team coming off a 56-44 league loss to Howard (Wilmington, DE). The Dragons record now stands at 2-5.

The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Math Civics & Sciences (Philadelphia, PA). The Mighty Elephants enter the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Math Civics & Sciences was nudged by Archbishop Wood (Warminster, PA), 81-59, in a non-league contest.
