January 13, 2023: Flandreau, SD 57028 The Flandreau Fliers basketball team (Flandreau, SD), was overwhelmed 64-34 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Madison Bulldogs (Madison, SD)
The Bulldogs now possess a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. Madison will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 79-42 non-league win over Oldham-Ramona/Rutland (Ramona, SD). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-1.
The Fliers (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Deuel (Clear Lake, SD). The Cardinals enter the A Region 2 contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Deuel was routed by Clark/Willow Lake (Clark, SD), 60-40, in a league contest.
