With the victory, Hesston improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Swathers host Republic County (Belleville, KS) to confront the Buffaloes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Republic County won 52-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Smith Center (Smith Center, KS)
Next up, the Lions confront the Scott Beavers (Scott City, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Lyons will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Beavers come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 56-43 non-league win over Holcomb (Holcomb, KS).
