South Dakota High School Basketball - Ipswich crushes Wilmot
January 13, 2023: Wilmot, SD 57279 Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Wilmot Wolves (Wilmot, SD), 56-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ipswich upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Webster (Webster, SD) to play the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Webster lost 70-31 in their recent non-league bout against Hamlin (Hayti, SD)
Next up, the Wolves play the Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD) in a B Region 1 bout, on Monday, January 16. Wilmot will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 65-44 league loss to Aberdeen Christian (Aberdeen, SD).
