The North Central Knights basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Twin Loup Wolves to 27 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Niobrara/Verdigre for a D1 District 6 contest on Tuesday, January 17. North Central will meet a Cougars team coming off a 67-24 non-league loss to Elkhorn Valley (Tilden, NE). The Cougars record now stands at 0-14.

The Wolves (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Mullen (Mullen, NE). The Broncos enter the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Mullen triumphed over Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE), 42-29, in a non-league contest.
