Georgia High School Basketball - Upson-Lee crushes Peach County

January 13, 2023: Fort Valley, GA 31030

Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Peach County Trojans (Fort Valley, GA), 62-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Upson-Lee upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a AAA Region 2 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 6-10. Mary Persons won 67-39 in their recent league bout against Pike County (Zebulon, GA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Perry Panthers (Perry, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Peach County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 59-37 league loss to Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA).
