January 13, 2023: McGuffey, OH 45859 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH) and the visiting Perry Commodores (Lima, OH), saw Upper Scioto Valley's basketball squad overcome Perry by a tally of 54-39.
With the victory, Upper Scioto Valley improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Rams host Arcadia (Arcadia, OH) to confront the Redskins in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Redskins come into the challenge with a record of 2-9. Arcadia lost 62-20 in their recent league challenge against Liberty-Benton (Findlay, OH)
Next up, the Commodores confront the Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH) in a Northwest Central challenge, on Friday, January 20. Perry will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Golden Gophers come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 60-38 non-league loss to Mohawk (Sycamore, OH).
