The Sage Ridge Scorpions routed the visiting Sierra Lutheran Falcons basketball team by a tally of 57-33 in Friday's league battle.

The Scorpions now possess a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Head-Royce for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. Sage Ridge will confront a Jayhawks team coming off a 81-34 league win over Redwood Christian (San Lorenzo, CA). The Jayhawks record now stands at 14-2.

The Falcons (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Mammoth trounced Frazier Mountain (Lebec, CA), 59-44, in a league battle.
