Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Valentine (Valentine, NE), 43-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hershey upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Holdrege (Holdrege, NE) to play the Dusters in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Dusters go into the bout with a record of 3-10. Holdrege lost 47-15 in their recent non-league bout against Southern Valley (Oxford, NE)

Next up, the play the Ogallala Indians (Ogallala, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Valentine will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 65-35 non-league loss to Sidney (Sidney, NE).
