Ohio High School Basketball - Patriot Prep Academy nipped by Horizon Science Academy
January 13, 2023: Columbus, OH 43227 The Horizon Science Academy Hawks tipped the host Patriot Prep Academy Eagles basketball team by a final score of 38-31 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Hawks face the Cristo Rey Cougar (Columbus, OH) in a Freelance game, on Thursday, January 19. Horizon Science Academy will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Cougar enter the game with a 2-10 record after their 31-23 non-league win over Waite (Toledo, OH).

Patriot started off fast with an 11 to 2 start.
Second Quarter
Patriot had a player get hurt towards the end of the period and Horizon settled down and took the lead.
Third Quarter
Horizon took advantage of the injured player and increased the lead to double digits.
Fourth Quarter
The injured player returned and Patriot went on a run to cut the deficit but Horizon held on in the end with some good defense and ball handling to close the game out
