North Carolina High School Basketball - Victory Baptist nips Tabernacle Christian
January 13, 2023: Hickory, NC 28601 Victory Baptist Warrior (Loganville, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Tabernacle Christian Conquerors (Hickory, NC), 40-35 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Victory Baptist upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Warrior travel to Woodland Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 8-4. Woodland Baptist Christian won 67-29 in their recent league bout against Tabernacle Christian (Hickory, NC)
Next up, the Conquerors play the Victory Christian Academy Patriots (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Tabernacle Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 79-25 league loss to Veritas Christian Academy (Arden, NC).
