Connecticut High School Basketball - Avon tops Bulkeley
January 13, 2024: Hartford, CT 06114 Avon Falcons (Avon, CT) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Bulkeley Bulldogs (Hartford, CT), 63-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Avon upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Cheney RVT (Manchester, CT) to play the Beavers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Beavers come into the bout with a record of 8-2. Cheney RVT won 49-45 in their recent non-league bout against Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Metropolitan Learning Center Dragons (Bloomfield, CT) in a Capitol Region bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Bulkeley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Dragons come into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 43-40 league loss to University (Hartford, CT).
