The Benedictine Cadets tipped the host Virginia Episcopal School Bishops basketball team by a final score of 62-56 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Cadets face the Virginia Academy Patriots (Ashburn, VA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, January 17. Benedictine will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Patriots enter the game with a 4-15 record after their 64-57 non-league win over St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD).

With the defeat, Virginia Episcopal School moves to 6-5 on the year.
