Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Chester tops Bishop Shanahan
January 13, 2024: Chester, PA 19013 Chester Clippers (Chester, PA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Bishop Shanahan Eagles (Downingtown, PA), 63-55 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Chester upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Clippers travel to Interboro (Prospect Park, PA) to play the Buccaneers in a Delaware Valley bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a record of 4-9. Interboro lost 66-50 in their recent non-league bout against Ridley (Folsom, PA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Avon Grove Red Devils (West Grove, PA) in a Ches-Mont - National bout, on Thursday, January 18. Bishop Shanahan will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Red Devils come into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 82-80 non-league loss to Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA).
