Georgia High School Basketball - Buford fells River Ridge

January 13, 2024: Buford, GA 30518

Buford Wolves (Buford, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA), 71-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Buford upgrades its record to 15-3 on the season. The Wolves host Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA) to clash with the Eagles in a AAAAAAA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Collins Hill lost 68-63 in their recent league bout against Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. River Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 65-57 league win over Creekview (Canton, GA).
