Georgia High School Basketball - Darlington nips Christian Heritage
January 13, 2024: Rome, GA 30161 Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Christian Heritage Lions (Dalton, GA), 64-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Darlington upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Tigers host Coosa (Rome, GA) to play the Eagles in a A D1 Region 7 bout on Friday, January 19. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-13. Coosa lost 77-52 in their recent league bout against Trion (Trion, GA)
Next up, the Lions play the Greenforest Eagles (Decatur, GA) in a A D2 Region 7 bout, on Friday, January 19. Christian Heritage will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 14-4 record after their 61-54 non-league win over Mount Vernon (Atlanta, GA).
