Arkansas High School Basketball - Marion knocked off by Cordova
January 13, 2024: Marion, AR 72364 The Cordova Wolves basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Marion Patriots to 52 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wolves now sport a 19-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian Brothers for a non-league contest on Monday, January 15. Cordova will battle a Purple Wave team coming off a 64-62 league loss to Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN). The Purple Wave record now stands at 12-7.
The Patriots (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Batesville (Batesville, AR). The Pioneers enter the 5A East contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Batesville was defeated by Paragould (Paragould, AR), 53-46, in a league contest.
