New Jersey High School Basketball - Irvington can't hold off Ferris
January 13, 2024: Irvington, NJ 07111 The Ferris Bulldogs basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Irvington Blue Knights to 45 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host University Academy Charter for a Hudson County - National contest on Tuesday, January 16. Ferris will battle a Generals team coming off a 57-37 league loss to McNair Academic (Jersey City, NJ). The Generals record now stands at 0-9.
The Blue Knights (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Star Academy (Newark, NJ). The come into the Super Essex - American contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, North Star Academy edged Millburn (Millburn, NJ), 54-47, in a league contest.
