Vermont High School Basketball - Spaulding overwhelmed by Harwood
January 13, 2024: Barre, VT 05641 The Harwood Highlanders basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Spaulding Crimson Tide to 48 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Saturday.
The Highlanders now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montpelier for a Capital contest on Tuesday, January 16. Harwood will battle a Solons team coming off a 80-47 league win over Lamoille (Hyde Park, VT). The Solons record now stands at 7-3.
The Crimson Tide (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Twin Valley (Wilmington, VT). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Twin Valley triumphed over Rivendell Academy (Orford, NH), 58-54, in a league contest.
