January 13, 2024: Kayenta, AZ 86033 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Holbrook Roadrunners (Holbrook, AZ) and the host Monument Valley Mustangs (Kayenta, AZ), saw Holbrook's basketball squad overcome Monument Valley by a tally of 65-46.
With the victory, Holbrook improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Roadrunners host Payson (Payson, AZ) to confront the Longhorns in a 3A East challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 8-7. Payson won 65-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Globe (Globe, AZ)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Alchesay Falcons (Whiteriver, AZ) in a 3A North challenge, on Monday, January 15. Monument Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 60-55 league loss to Page (Page, AZ).
