Maryland High School Basketball - Maryland School for the Deaf trounces Model Secondary School for the Deaf
January 13, 2024: Frederick, MD 21701 The Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles (Frederick, MD) basketball crushed the visiting Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC), 55-31 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Orioles (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Covenant Life (Gaithersburg, MD). The Cougars go into the Maryland Independent League test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Covenant Life was trounced by Perry Hall Christian (Perry Hall, MD), 53-45, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they host The Lab School of Washington for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16. Model Secondary School for the Deaf will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 73-23 league loss to The Living Water School (Alexandria, VA). The Dragons record now stands at 0-1.
