January 13, 2024: Santa Fe, NM 87505 The Mesa Vista Trojans (Ojo Caliente, NM) basketball nipped the host Santa Fe Indian Braves (Santa Fe, NM), 55-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Trojans (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Pecos (Pecos, NM). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Pecos got by Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM), 51-43, in a non-league test.
The Braves now own a 11-3 record. They play next when they host Cuba for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16. Santa Fe Indian will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 77-57 non-league loss to Tohatchi (Tohatchi, NM). The Rams record now stands at 5-10.
