Sheffield Wolverines (Sheffield, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Oswayo Valley Green Wave (Shinglehouse, PA), 42-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sheffield upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Wolverines travel to DuBois Central Catholic (DuBois, PA) to clash with the Cardinals in a Allegheny Mountain - Southern bout on Friday, January 19. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 6-6.

Next up, the Green Wave clash with the Galeton Tigers (Galeton, PA) in a North Tier bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Oswayo Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record.
