Connecticut High School Basketball - Ridgefield nips Windsor
January 13, 2024: Ridgefield, CT 06877 Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Windsor Warriors (Windsor, CT), 62-57 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Ridgefield upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT) to play the Cadets in a Fairfield County bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Cadets come into the bout with a record of 4-3. St. Joseph won 57-54 in their recent league bout against Greenwich (Greenwich, CT)
Next up, the Warriors play the Newington Nor'easters (Newington, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Windsor will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Nor'easters come into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 82-38 league win over Rocky Hill (Rocky Hill, CT).
