The Tahoma Bears (Maple Valley, WA) basketball crushed the host Mt. Rainier Rams (Des Moines, WA), 56-34 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bears (9-0) will now prepare for their test against Bellarmine Prep (Tacoma, WA). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Bellarmine Prep was trounced by Sumner (Sumner, WA), 53-50, in a non-league test.

The Rams now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Kentridge for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16. Mt. Rainier will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 44-37 non-league loss to Kentwood (Covington, WA). The Chargers record now stands at 3-5.
