California High School Basketball - West Hills thwarts Calexico
January 13, 2024: Santee, CA 92071 The West Hills Wolf Pack (Santee, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Calexico Bulldogs (Calexico, CA), 41-32 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wolf Pack (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Cougars go into the Grossmont - Valley test with a 12-6 record. In their last test, Steele Canyon notched a victory over Hoover (San Diego, CA), 50-46, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a Imperial Valley test on Tuesday, January 16. Calexico will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 51-38 non-league loss to Yuma Catholic (Yuma, AZ). The Spartans record now stands at 6-10.
