In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Canfield Cardinals basketball team scored a good 43-31 triumph over the Chippewa Chipps.

In their next game, the Cardinals meet the Harding Raiders (Warren, OH) in a All-American match, on Wednesday, January 17. Canfield will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 6-7 record after their 64-46 league loss to Boardman (Youngstown, OH).
