Minnesota High School Basketball - Minnetonka trounces DeLaSalle
January 13, 2024: Minnetonka, MN 55345 The Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN) basketball crushed the visiting DeLaSalle Islanders (Minneapolis, MN), 82-57 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Skippers (13-0) will now prepare for their test against Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN). The Lakers go into the AAAA Section 2 test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Prior Lake was trounced by Burnsville (Burnsville, MN), 69-68, in a non-league test.
The Islanders now own a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Columbia Heights for a AA Section 4 test on Tuesday, January 16. DeLaSalle will encounter a Hylanders squad coming off a 72-29 non-league loss to Como Park (St. Paul, MN). The Hylanders record now stands at 5-13.
