Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Westtown overwhelms Delone Catholic
January 13, 2024: West Chester, PA 19382 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Westtown (West Chester, PA) and the visiting Delone Catholic Squires (McSherrystown, PA), saw Westtown's basketball squad wallop Delone Catholic by a tally of 67-30.
With the victory, Westtown improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The travel to McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Sunday, January 14. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 13-3. McDonogh won 81-64 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Mary's (Annapolis, MD)
Next up, the Squires play the Biglerville Canners (Biglerville, PA) in a York-Adams 4 challenge, on Monday, January 15. Delone Catholic will attempt to improve on its 12-1 season record. The Canners come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 49-24 league win over Littlestown (Littlestown, PA).
