Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Northwestern trounces Girard

January 13, 2024: Girard, PA 16417

The Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA) basketball crushed the host Girard Yellowjackets (Girard, PA), 52-24 in Saturday's league test.

The Wildcats (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Seneca (Erie, PA). The Bobcats go into the District 10 Region 3 test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Seneca walloped Meadville (Meadville, PA), 56-15, in a non-league test.

The Yellowjackets now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they travel to Union City for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16. Girard will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 68-15 league win over Youngsville (Youngsville, PA). The Bears record now stands at 4-9.
