Oklahoma High School Basketball - Pittsburg tops Glencoe
January 13, 2024: Pittsburg, OK 74560 Spectators at Saturday's non-league test between the Pittsburg Panthers (Pittsburg, OK) and the visiting Glencoe Panthers (Glencoe, OK), witnessed Pittsburg's basketball squad topple Glencoe by a margin of 44-26.
The Panthers (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Indianola (Indianola, OK). The Warriors go into the Pittsburg Eight test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Indianola notched a victory over Haileyville (Haileyville, OK), 42-11, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Pawnee for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16. Glencoe will encounter a Black Bears squad coming off a 50-17 non-league win over Woodland (Fairfax, OK). The Black Bears record now stands at 9-3.
