Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Governor Mifflin edges Nazareth Area
January 13, 2024: Nazareth, PA 18064 The Governor Mifflin Mustangs (Shillington, PA) basketball nipped the host Nazareth Area Blue Eagles (Nazareth, PA), 61-60 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Cedar Crest (Lebanon, PA). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Cedar Crest got by Warwick (Lititz, PA), 39-28, in a non-league test.
The Blue Eagles now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Whitehall for a Lehigh Valley test on Wednesday, January 17. Nazareth Area will encounter a Zephyrs squad coming off a 52-24 non-league win over East Stroudsburg North (Dingmans Ferry, PA). The Zephyrs record now stands at 6-8.
